It's not a party without balloons / bubbly / bunting! (delete as appropriate)

For me, it's definitely the bunting that sets the scene for a party. Empty rooms, marquees, open spaces can all be transformed instantly with a swag or two of bunting.

It all began in 2015 when I volunteered to make the bunting for my brother and his fiancé's wedding. They had a large marquee in the middle of open fields and it all needed bunting. So I set to work.

For the next six months, I sourced fabrics and lovingly crafted nearly 100 metres of gorgeous, vintage style bunting.

I also made 300 metres of more basic white bunting to make a statement out in the fields.

The finished result was fabulous, even if I do say so myself. 

 

And most importantly, Tanya the Bride loved it too. 

​

It felt only fitting to name the vintage style bunting after her, and so the "tanya bunting" was created.

​

And thus began my obsession with making bunting and setting the scene for fabulous celebrations.
